Support Analyst, MQ Websphere

We are seeking On-site resource with in-depth technical diagnostic skills in IBM WebSphere MQ in a Unix/AIX environment to take direct charge to manage issues/outages which occur in the customer's environment regarding use of this product directly or peripherally. Candidate must be able to quickly identify the source of any problem and direct/perform the necessary steps to resolve the issue collecting the required documentation, opening PMRs, communicatingdirectly with the IBM L2 product support teams, communicating to all levels of management within the customer organization, and expediting resolution of
critical problems. This position provides assistance in implementation of best practices and proactive measures in the customer's environment. Major Field of Study: Computer Science or related field. Requirements include: Leadership/decision making/initiative; WebSphere MQ UNIX/AIX PD/PSI Support Skills; WebSphere MQ Product/Operational Skills - UNIX/AIX; WebSphere MQ Best Practices; Leading edge IT solutions, tools, products, technologies, techniques; Project Management; Communication skills; IBM Product Support Processes; Candidate must demonstrate extensive experience in performing product diagnostics for WebSphere MQ on UNIX/AIX platforms in complex large customer environments. Extensive experience with IBM Product support processes required. Candidate must be able to perform in a highly intense business critical environment and drive results. Experience/extensive experience with WebSphere MQ on zSeries a plus. THIS POSITION CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE US.
