System Administrator/Test Engineer 4/5

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening on the DIA’s Data Broker project for a System Administrator/Test Engineer 

 

As the Systems Administrator you will be responsible for installation, configuration, and administration of COTS products to include: Oracle, WebMethods, WebLogic, ClearCase, ClearQuest, and RequisitePro. Duties will also include administering network and user accounts, performing system backups and acting as the project SSO.  Test Engineer duties will include  execution of test procedures, documenting the test results, identifying system deficiencies, and verifying resolution of system deficiences.  Applicant will be expected to quickly learn to create test data and test scripts for use in testing.  Will also be expected to participate in System Requirements and Software Design Reviews, and assists in the integration of software products.

The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years experience . Additional experience will be consider in lieu of a degree
Current and Active TS/SCI
Minimum of 6 years experience in the administration of Windows and Unix servers
Familiar with the definition, design, and development of test plans, procedures, and reports for the verification of software applications


Strong Unix skills, including scripting skills


A strong working knowledge of XML, SOAP, WSDL


A familiarity with Web Services, SOA


Strong database skills, including the ability to retrieve and stage data into both Sybase and Oracle databases


 Familiarity with standard testing methodologies

 
Experience in the following areas is an asset:


 
Understanding of DOD systems
Experience testing Web Services
