System Support Analyst II

Basic Assignment:

Under the supervision of the Information Systems Supervisor, System Support Analyst II will perform a variety of programming duties including, but not limited to, support of custom in-house applications and desktop support.

 

 

Qualifications: 

1.  Bachelor of Science degree and 3-5 years application programming experience or equlivant combination of education and experience.

2.  Tested proficiency in Microsoft SQL, MS Access and Visual Basic.  ASP,.Net and XML a plus.

3.  Experience in application development and maintenance environments.

4.  Good project and time management skills including the ability to focus on discrete details while retaining large project context, to respond to reapidly changing requirements and to take direction. 

5.  Exceptional customer service and communication skills including working with culturally diverse groups

6.  Ability to sit, write and/or enter data for extended periods and reach and bend to file.

7.  Visual ability to read computer and hand-written materials.

8.  Reliable transportation and knowledge of the San Diego area.

9.  Excellent verbal/written English skills to communicate clearly and professionally.

 

 

Major Functions:

Programming/Software Support - Participation in design, construction, maintenance, querying and user support of multiple custom Client/Server and Web-based database driven applications.
