Basis to join our SAP Development team.  This position is in our Corporate Division and located in St. Paul, MN.  We are investing in technology and this is a huge opportunity to help build what you will support.

 

Responsibilities:This key technical role will create, update, and troubleshoot the production batch jobs and backup job schedules utilizing BMC Control-M software.This person will use their operations background and experience supporting business critical systems to ensure that service levels are met.  Monitor and coordinate the use and maintenance of systems applications including producing reports and providing application support.

 

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position you must possess the following:A two year degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent discipline or two years of additional work experience above the minimums below.A minimum of 3 years of systems administration experience including managing and supporting client server systems.  The ideal candidate will have direct experience with UNIX batch processing with SAP, Oracle and Veritas NetBackup systems in a fully validated environment.Ability to provide 24x7 on-call support of SAP infrastructure components.2 years experience with installation and operational/troubleshooting support of production batch processing application (BMC Control-M).2 years experience with installation and operational/troubleshooting support of systems monitoring tools such as Mercury SiteScope or Argent Guardian.Proven experience with Sun servers and Solaris 10 operating system.Ability to define and write procedures and documentations related to the systems applications and related policies and procedures,Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
