Job Requirements and Description

 

This is a Team ITSS position with Jacobs Sverdrup.  The candidate must have 6 years relevant experience plus an entry level certification, OR 4 years relevant experience plus an entry level certification and an Associates Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field, OR 2 years relevant experience plus an entry level certification and a Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field.  One year experience operating a large scale computer in batch/time-shared mode of operation.  Candidate must have at least two years of previous Microsoft Exchange experience and a minimum of two year of experience with TCP/IP, DNS, Windows 2000 or XP, and Microsoft Office.  Candidate should have Microsoft Active Directory experience. Must be able to interact with customers in a professional manner.  Requires a background in computer help desk support with at least three years of experience.

 

Other Duties:

 

Responsible for providing Tier III help desk support in a dynamic support environment.  Work with Junior Help Desk Technicians to resolve Customer support issues in a wide range of support areas.  Duties will also include assisting with the daily administration of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.  Position will also be involved in supporting Systems Management Server (SMS), backup and restore of Customer data and Common Access Card (CAC).  Please Note:  Position will be for a period of at least three months to a maximum period of five months.
