Systems Adminstrator

 

Job Description:

 

Install, configure and provide continued support for all corporate servers, networking devices, firewalls, and phone systems. 

 

Administer and support Call Center ACD.

 

Document all system and infrastructure designs and modifications.  Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations.  Adhere to standard server build guides.

 

Perform analysis of network needs and contribute to the design of network architecture, integration, and installation.

 

Monitor and maintain network stability.

 

Take a proactive role in the scheduling of backups, data integrity, and data security.

 

Log downtime and report availability on all critical systems.

 

Provide third level support to the IT help desk on network related issues.

 

Provide 24/7 on-call support for internal, hosted, and remote systems.

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

? MCSE

? Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent preferred

? Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft server environments including Active Directory, Cluster Server, IIS, SQL Server

? Checkpoint / Nokia clustered firewall administration and configuration experience

? Mitel PBX administration and configuration experience

? Legato Networker administration and configuration experience

? Experience with HP servers, storage, and management/provisioning tools

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

? Strong problem-solving ability

? Excellent organizational skills
