Systems Architect

Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI), an information technology consulting firm specializing in application development and managed maintenance support services for Fortune 1000 companies has an immediate need for a Systems Architect in the Harrisburg, PA area.

Systems Architect:
The Systems Architect?s role is to strategically design and implement information systems and networked software architectures that support core organizational functions, and assure their high availability. This individual will gain organizational commitment for all systems and software plans, as well as evaluate and select all technologies required to complete those plans. In addition, the Systems Architect provides technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level, such as preparing preparing customer proposals, cost estimates, project plans, recommending technical direction, mentoring developers, recommending and implementing software development processes. Must have .NET experience.

Job Qualifications:
 - must have WEB development and architecture experience
 - must have .NET architecture experience
 - insure technical solution meets project scope and budget
 - insure technical solution matches staffing plans and skillset of the project team
 - work with PM to interview team members and select project team
 - familiar with MSF, RUP and PA BSCoE methodologies
 - ability to create relationships with clients and secure new business opportunities
 - ability to understand client proposal process and develop solutions based on budgets,
written requirements, and unwritten requirements
 - ability to present technical information in a non-technical format to executives
 - mentor team members
 - implement new processes to the team and organization
 - Develop and execute projects according to defined plans
 - Act as liaison between project team(s), management, and vendors
 - Responsible for project scope, cost, quality, and communication management
 - Develop and pursue relationships and leads with the goal of increasing revenue
 - Analyze procedures and problems to automate processing or improve existing business 
systems
 - Determine compatibility between existing systems and new systems
 - Mentor team members
