Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Software Developer -Peoplesoft Financials to join our team in Plano, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:

Work on a highly motivated, dynamic, strong development team supporting PeopleSoft Financials 8.3 applications as well as project work on a 24/7 basis.

Requirements:

Must have the ability to work independently and unsupervised.

Have a flexible approach to work with ensured closure of tasks.

Have the ability to think 'outside the box'.

Have a 'can do' attitude and an ability to make Pragmatic and practical decisions - without compromising the integrity of the IT system

Required Skills:

3-5 yrs PeopleSoft Ver 8 Dev Exp

3-5 yrs PeopleTools (Peoplecode, App Engine)

3-5 yrs Workflow, Sqr, UNIX, CI

3-5 yrs Peoplesoft Financials

Excellent customer interface skills and the ability to effectively communicate with business analysts and end users as well as off-shore team members are required.

Must be well versed in PeopleTools 8.20 or higher with knowledge of Application Engine, PeopleCode, Query, SQR, Component Interfaces and Cobol and have the ability to write and understand complex SQL statements.

Desired Skills:

Full understanding of the systems development life-cycle.

Experience reviewing PeopleSoft patches and applying fixes.

Experience with Oracle databases.

Strong analysis and problem solving skills.

UNIX scripting skills, nVision, Crystal Reports, Workflow and upgrade experience a plus.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or MIS
