Systems Management Product Engineer for Investment Bank- infra monitoring tools

The Enterprise Application & Systems Management (EASM) team at provides tools to help IT manage systems and applications. It is a complex, dynamic, large & heterogeneous environment that necessitates the integration & simplicity of management functions.  A sophisticated business environment alongside regulatory demands has created the need to evolve systems & application management capabilities and near real-time management, monitoring & views into the health of the environment.

 

PRODUCT ENGINEER - Systems Management: Engineering positions focused on management & monitoring systems that are highly scalable, manageable, and more reliable than the applications & systems that rely on them. The team focuses on engineering of enterprise infrastructure applications, generally in the area of system and application monitoring and management. The products are a mix of vendor and in-house developed systems. Job functions include product evaluations, integration of products into the environment, development & maintenance of related tools & user interfaces, product architecture and performance analysis.

 

The use a number of infrastructure monitoring tools (autosys, netcool, mercury, sysedge?) and they need people who have experience with a number of the products.  People to integrate products into the real time environment.

 

REQUIRED SKILL SET:proven hands on experience in enterprise production infrastructure management, systems administration with good programming skills
