Systems Programmer - UNIX
A high-profile real estate services organization needs your skills and talent!
OVERVIEW:
For this contract-to-hire position you will be involved with a variety of activities in support of the enhancement and maintenance for all components of our service. This will involve leveraging your extensive, broad experience with networks, operating systems, and multi-tiered Internet services to perform various functional roles, such as performance analyst, service architect, system/database administrator, capacity planner, tools developer, monitoring expert, and technical evangelist.
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years related work experience, including specific experience in a high-volume, critical production service environment
Senior level UNIX systems administration experience
Experience programming / debugging web applications running under Java VM
In-depth knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
Experience with MySQL and/or Python a plus
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills (written and verbal)
BS in CS or related field
Programming / troubleshooting skills using C/C++ and/or Java a plus
