Systems Software Programmer-Sr

First American MLS Solutions has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Developer reporting to our Knoxville, TN location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Participate in the full software development cycle including requirements analysis, feature design/architecture, programming, documentation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Accountable for delivery of application features that meet business requirements, perform and scale to required levels, and meet code quality requirements and conform to best practices.
- Mentor junior level staff to enhance their capabilities and awareness of best practices.
- Assists Principal Software Architect with the development of best practices and design patterns.
- These responsibilities will be carried out with an emphasis in the area of Web UI development including but not limited to ASP.Net Web Pages, Web Controls, User Controls, and Client-Side JavaScript.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 5+ years enterprise-scale web application development with ASP.Net in C#. ASP.Net version 2.0 experience preferred.
- Experience with Visual Studio .Net 2003 (2005 Preferred).
- Experience with NUnit testing framework and test driven development techniques preferred.
- Experience with Subversion and/or Visual Source Safe or similar source control systems a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
