Systems Test Engineer

Solekai focuses primarily on design projects for interactive television, digital satellite and cable systems with an emphasis on set-top boxes.? The Test Engineer/Systems Engineer will be responsible for executing Hardware/Software test for Solekai customers both on site and off site. ?This role requires a detail-oriented person with a positive attitude who is smart and works well in a team setting.















Essential Functions



?????????? Configure analog/digital RF equipment

?????????? Document test analysis for customers

?????????? Write and execute test plans as required by customers

?????????? Set up and orient digital video equipment, including RF equipment, test equipment and test automation

?????????? Interface directly with customers in order to determine customer need

?????????? Work with cable headend design, including closed captioning, content advisory, EAS, conditional access, MPEG 2 and billing systems







Experience and Skills:


?????????? 5+ years experience with cable operations

?????????? Experience with network communication protocols

?????????? Extensive knowledge in cable architecture

?????????? Experience in working in a lab environment

?????????? Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills

?????????? Extremely detail oriented

?????????? BS/EE preferred but not required

?????????? Willing to travel as needed
