TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT I
CreditMax LLC, a technology company, is looking for a technically skilled, highly motivated individual with outstanding technical aptitude and problem solving skills. Use your excellent computer and network skills in providing technical support for the company's network infrastructure, which encompasses LANS, WANS, and network security. Daily participation in the corporate operations involving data management, maintenance, and reporting is an essential part of this role.
This position will have the opportunity to develop experience and skill in a Microsoft shop under the direction of experienced Network and Technology staff.
Essential Functions:
? Responsible for administration, installation, diagnosis, data recovery, security compliance, and moves/adds/changes regarding the data network.
? Perform various data functions with the proprietary operational data.
? Make certain business availability, performance, capacity, and recovery requirements are met by the data network.
? Work closely with technology development, facilities, and operations teams in the development and deployment of IT solutions.
? Assist Sr. Network Administrator with system administration, researching network technologies, data center and WAN projects, and system maintenance.
? Monitor, diagnose, and resolve support and change requests from employees utilizing analytical ability to examine technical data and determine solutions.
? Assist team and supervisor with data and telecommunication projects.
? Assist in development, follow processes and procedures to maintain a secure, consistent, and stable environment.
? Assist in documenting procedures thoroughly.
? This individual will be potentially engaging in one-on-one interaction with many employees of different levels potentially all the way up to the CEO.
? Assist the security organization in security roles and continuing data security and business continuity development.
Requirements:
? Knowledge of:
o Developing and/or supporting network monitoring and administration tools.
o Group Policy, MS Active Directory and MS Exchange Administration.
o Microsoft SQL queries and database technologies.
o TCP/IP networking and network equipment.
o Network hardware (switches, firewalls, routers, etc.).
o Network services and protocols such as DHCP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, etc.
o Network security at the desktop, server, and network hardware level.
? Must have an in depth knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, 2003 operating systems (server and desktop versions).
? Willingness to support Microsoft applications, desktop, printers, and scanners.
? Must be a team player, have the ability to be happy and enjoy co-workers, and love to learn.
Actively pursuing or completed Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
MCP or MSCE is helpful.
