JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The Strategies, Simulations and Training Business Unit currently has an opening for an FCS Training ISR Lead.

* The FCS Training ISR Lead, will ensure that the design of the training products and applications incorporate the FCS Training Architecture and Common Components in a consistent manner. Responsible for providing FCS training information and guidance to the Intelligence Surveillence and Reconissance (ISR) sub-IPT, as necessary.

* Provide ongoing guidance and oversight as the Product One Team PArtners develop and integrate their training applications.

* Ensure that the training requirements are flowed to the ISR IPT.

* Work with the ISR IPT to provide guidance and help in making sure the requirements are flowed to the appropriate Training IPT level for development of the application.

* Responsibilities include development and implementation of appropriate processes & tools to ensure flowdown and horizontal integration of all requirements.

* Prepare documents for the procurement, development, verification and delivery of non-embedded training system H/W and S/W products. Manage Training Systems Products and Services partners.

* Support ISR One Team Partners in conducting training task analysis and conducting trade studies in support of Embedded Training technologies and implementations for all FCS platforms/systems.

* Provide engineering support and oversight to Partners and product IPTs to ensure allocations of hardware, software, and data satisfy legacy-training systems in accordance with FCS Training Architecture.

* Coordinate with other IPT?s to ensure common implementation of Training Common components for all FCS systems.

* This assignment will be a cooperative endeavor with requirements developers at the System of Systems level as well as those within the Program Teams, including Subcontractors.

* Administer training for validation and verification, Test and Evaluation, NSTO

EDUCATION:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 9+years experience.

* Advanced degree preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Posess systems Engineering knowledge and experience, with specific experience in requirements development at both prime and subcontract levels is required.

* Experience in working with customer personnel required.

* The ability to work with and effectively communicate with peers and all levels of management is required.

* Highly effective communication (written, presentation and oral) skills and interpersonal skills are required.

* Individual should be able to manage assignments independently, on schedule and with high quality results.

* Working knowledge of standard Windows Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) is necessary.
* Experience in large-scale program systems engineering and integration is a plus, as is experience with sensor systems.

* Experience in utilizing automated tools to support process execution in requirements flow/integration is desired.

* Recent and relevant Government systems engineering experience in multiple training domains; understanding and experience of the current DOD Material Acquisition process

* Understanding of Modeling and Simulation

* Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments

* Interacts with management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers
