Tech Support Specialist

This position is responsible for working as part of our management team to provide technical support to our clients.  We serve corrections clients in the Georgia and Alabama districts.

 

Our tech support specialist will have the opportunity to work from home, providing remote support, for our inmate accounting software, to the clients.  Travel throughout Georgia and near Alabama is required to handle issues that cannot be resolved remotely, to assist in new account installations, to provide hardware support, etc.  A company car is provided and home office expenses reimbursed.

 

Full time benefits are provided including vacation, medical (BCBS), dental/vision, 401K and more.  Training on the specifics of our software is provided.  Candidates must pass drug screening and background checks.

 

Candidate must have the self discipline to work independently and to maintain communication with the rest of the management team.  Essential is the ability to interact with clients in a professional and caring manner and to be able to communicate with them in lay terms.  Technical support skills and good communication skills are required.  Programming is not a part of this position.  Knowledge of basic accounting skills is a plus.
