Technical Analyst :: Talent Lifecycle Management Software

VE is expanding our Technology team with the addition of a Technical Analyst. The Technical Analyst is primarily responsible for working with VirtualEdge?s client?s or third-party vendor technical teams to establish specifications for, and management of, integrations or delivery of specific VirtualEdge ATS/Talent Lifecycle software products.

Responsibilities include:
Provide project management services. Activities will include coordinating customer deliverables between Implementation and Development teams at VE through Project Plans and regular communication between both teams. Apply project management best practices with regard to scope development, internal VE project planning, progress reporting, risk and activity log management, issue escalation, and scope/contract change oversight.
Oversee, coordinate, and facilitate the delivery of technical specifications and process planning meetings to ensure client-side deliverables in the project plan are achieved on time. This may include coordinating meetings with Internal VE team members, customer contacts and third-party vendors.
Utilize internal VE tools to track and report on behalf of assigned projects as well as overall projects assigned to the Development team at VE. Liaison with Technology and other departments in maintaining current project information, process development, and process compliance.
Assisting or leading with special projects and process improvement efforts, as assigned.


 

Core Requirements:

 5+ years of application development experience with exposure to the management of application deliverables and related business process across the breadth of the software development process
Familiarity with Complex, customer-facing systems, relational databases, and web-related technologies including ColdFusion and web services
Requirements Gathering and documentation skills
Customer facing project experience
Experience managing customer expectations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Understanding of standard project management and software development processes/procedures
Ability to manage large projects under the direction of and in coordination with an implementation or project manager and technology management
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
