Technical Java Lead Developer

Become part of the Professional Services team building world-class systems that will support the financial services industry with Anti-Money Laundering initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, building and supporting systems and applications that will be deployed at customer sites or that will work within our ASP environment. You will work closely with engineering and customers to understand requirements, develop technical designs, implement and extend web applications, and oversee the full application lifecycle.

 

You should be comfortable with multi-tasking, handling interrupts, and interacting with a distributed team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to see first-hand the impact of your work on a fast-growing company.

 BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

 7+ years web application programming experience.

 Strong foundation in Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, HTML/XML, and scripting.

 Must have experience with the web application framework Tapestry.

 Should have experience with object-relational mapping tools such as Hibernate; web services, SOAP.

 Solid track record delivering successful web applications through the full product lifecycle.

 Will be considered a plus if candidate is adept at JavaScript, DTML, and CSS.

 Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Needs to have proven technical leadership skills; be prepared to discuss projects you have lead, the size of the teams, what obstacles arose, and how you overcame them.
