Technical Support Analyst

Integrated Decision Support Corporation (IDSC) is based in Richardson, TX (North Dallas) and provides optimization, decision support technologies and integration services to transportation and logistics companies.

 

JOB PURPOSE:

This is an entry-level position with a high tech software company. The primary purpose of the role is to support Professional Services and Development with the integration, implementation and technical troubleshooting of existing products.

 







RESPONSIBILITIES:Installation and configuration of client/server applicationsMapping of data for interface purposesTroubleshooting technical issues as reported by customersInternal Database ManagementRemote maintenance and/or updates for existing client/server customersDocumentation and Testing

 

 SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will posses strong technical and database skills, and will have some experience with junior level Java development and multiple varieties and platforms of relational databases. Oral and written communication skills are also required.

 

*Outstanding written/verbal communication, time management and problem-solving skills required



*Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and applications



*Must possess a high level of customer service, with the ability to respond promptly and effectively to all customers ensuring their needs are met



*Strong work ethic and proven ability to work effectively in a fast moving, interdependent team environment

 

*Transportation/logistics experience a plus
