Technical Support Rep

Candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills, work well in a team environment, be self motivated, and able to work in a high pressure environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be comfortable working with a wide range of products. Pager rotation expected. Work location is Dallas, TX or Beaverton, OR. AIX, HACMP, AIX LVM, IBM Enterprise Storage products such as 2105 ESS, DS6000, DS8000, and FAStT/DS4000, SDD, OEM Storage on AIX, McData, Brocade, and CISCO Fibre Channel Switches, SAN Volume Controller. Windows and Linux skills a plus. The following skills are preferred for this position: AIX/Unix; San Fabric Skills; SAN Volume Controller; Communication Skills; Troubleshooting skills; Client Focus; Ability to set priorities; and Time Management. Remote telephone support for complex software products for external IBM customers. Primary products supported are AIX, HACMP and Storage Area Network devices. SAN devices are supported on a variety of platforms, primarily AIX, but including Linux, Microsoft, SUN and HP-UX. Need to be
familiar with SAN switches and configuration.
