TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

 

 

HELVOET PHARMA INC., a growing manufacturer is seeking a support specialist for a Microsoft Active Directory PC/LAN/WAN environment.

 

Job Description:  This position will provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level desktop and application support to users in a 100 seat Microsoft AD environment.  Successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, be detail-oriented and possess good time management and organizational skills, Must be able to multi-task and resolve support problems in a timely manner.  Must possess strong analytical and problem resolving skills.

 

Job Requirements:

?  Minimum 5 years desktop and application support in a Microsoft network environment.

?  Experience with Windows 2000 AD management tools a plus.

?  Experience installing, troubleshooting and resolving problems of Windows 2000, Lotus Notes.

?  Experience with imaging software, PQDI, Ghost.

?  Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and restoring backups using ArcServe and NT Backup.

?  Experience installing and configuring Palm Pilots, Intellisync with synchronization to Lotus Notes.

?  MS Access development a plus.

?  Maintenance of MS Access inventory databases and MS Access time management databases.

?  Experience installing and troubleshooting network printers.

?  Experience installing, configuring and supporting Symantec Antivirus.

?  Experience with Symantec System Center Antivirus console a plus.

?  Must possess the ability to create detailed system documentation, policies and procedures.

?  Must be willing to work nights and weekends, as needed.

?  Associates Degree or MCSE preferred.
