Telephony ICM Developer

The Telecom Call Routing Project Team is looking for an experienced developer to be a key contributor on our team. This team is responsible for the development of call routing applications for all business areas within Progressive. This includes the Cisco ICM, and the PBX platforms.

Requirements include 2-4 years of call routing software experience. Familiarity and some experience with the Cisco ICM is a must, as is experience with SQL. Knowledge of Avaya PBX and of UML (use case and scenario diagrams, object modeling) is an added plus.

Responsibilities include program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation, the defining of system scope and objectives under general direction and devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems while considering system capacity and limitations. The candidate will also be required to do technical feasibility studies, create detailed test plans for all stages of testing, and analysis of trade-offs between various technologies and platforms. Regularly provide guidance and training to less experienced system analysts and programming personnel. This job requires strong written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, and customer interaction.
