TEST ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will perform functional testing on a system and subsystem level.  The system consists of embedded devices, handheld computers, and servers to process and report data.  Testing will be focus on the embedded device and its interaction with the other system components.


The Test Engineer will work under the direction of a seasoned test professional in defining, implementing, and executing applications that verify the product meets functional requirements. In addition, this position is responsible for identifying opportunities for automated tests that perform regression, stress, and load testing on the product.

This position is required to work extremely closely with all levels of product development ? engineering, product management, and manufacturing.


REQUIREMENTS

2 years product development experience in a software or systems environment.


Experience with formal verification methodologies desired, but not required.

Preference will be given to candidates with a strong development skill set.

Proven work history of completing projects on time and exceeding quality goals.


EDUCATION
+ BS Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or comparable degree/experience.

PERSONAL SKILLS
+ Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
+ Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Strong team attitude a must
