Tier 1 & 2 Server/Network Support


The Support Analyst will be responsible for administering tier 1 & 2 support for the internal networks and servers for Online Services Team.




Shift Schedule: The position will work Shift work. Must be open to weekends and off shifts (swing, graves).


Duties and Responsibilities:


Daily monitoring of service queue and generation of service requests based on level of support required.

Following recommended service procedures to include escalation to tier 3 support.

Work on monitoring applications such as Sitescope, MOM, MSE and Product Studio.

Provide network performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

Accomplish assigned projects relating to team goals.

Hardware replacement for HP and Dell servers in Pre-production Environment.



Requirements:


Required Skills include the following:


1 year of practical/professional W2K/2003 server experience is required.

1 year of experience in a web server support role or gaming support role.

Networking experience.

Experience with server monitoring systems.

Previous exposure to trouble ticketing systems.

IIS & MOM Experience.

Microsoft Certified Professional Win2003 with goal of MCSA within 6 months.

Previous datacenter experience desired.


Soft Skills:


Customer relations experience required; technical customer support preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Excellent organizational and trouble shooting skills.

Extreme flexibility and adaptable to change.

Excellent problem solving skills.

Must be strong team player and be able to work closely and consistently in a dynamic team.
