Fast growing, employee-oriented software Development Company seeks experienced User Interface Design Manager for their Software Products.



Must have strong Management experience specifically as a UI Designer with a ?Shrink Wrap? Software Development Company. Proficiency with various design and prototyping tools.

Master's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Interaction Design, or related field (or Bachelor's degree plus equivalent experience).



The ideal candidate will: People Manges, Project Manage; and be proficient in Usability Engineering. Your team will work with Product Management, Software Engineers, Marketing, Technical Writers and Customers to determine over all Product Usability.



$90,000 To $120,000 (Depending on Experience)Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Key Responsibilities:

Mange the Usability Team

ROI Measurements

User-Centered Design concepts must be utilized.

Interaction designs from conceptualization through prototyping to implementation.

User Interface Designs: storyboards, mock-ups and prototypes are required.

Must be able to develop conceptual models from functional specifications.

Understand the interaction design by the user and by the web application.

User Documentation.

Implement user interface guidelines and standards.



Qualifications and Requirements:

Strong communication skills, Information synthesis, conceptual modeling,

knowledge of user interface design principles, human factors, User Centered Design, interaction design, usability methodologies, industry standards and trends, platform standards, and software development process.



5 years of direct UI design experience for Software and Web-based applications.

Graphic design including screen layout, icon development and visual design integration.

Strong understanding and experience with Networking environments and Web technologies.



Education:

Master's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Interaction Design, or related field (or Bachelor's degree plus equivalent experience).
