User Interface Software Engineer

Job Description:The position of User Interface Software Engineer is vital to our company. The ideal candidate will have a preference for playing an important role in a fast-paced small business environment where individual employees take ownership. The User Interface Software Engineer will actively take a hands-on role to ensure that our products fully meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:? Implement and enhance product features under both ASP and
ASP.NET environments interfacing to a relational database,
server-side components (.NET and COM), and charting/graphing libraries.
? Work closely with the Director of Software Engineering,
Software Engineers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers
? Gather and refine requirements from internal customers
? Effectively communicate the status of projects (written and spoken)
? Participate in iterative development processes
? Demonstrate their work to other groups to assure that it
captures what was requested
? Work on multiple projects simultaneously
? Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

? Have at a minimum, a Bachelors in Computer Science or other technical discipline
? Have 2+ years experience in UI development on web-based
commercial software applications
? Have experience developing ASP and ASP.NET applications
including the use of VB.NET and/or C#
? Be a team player and be process oriented
