VMWare ESX Engineer

New VMware Engineer position near DFW Airport. This position will be responsible for supporting operating systems goals. Additionally, the position will provide technical engineering support for the installation, maintenance and support of VMware solutions.

Job Requirements:
? 5+ years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer in large corporate environments is required, along with a solid VMware ESX, Virtual Center and VMotion experience a must.
? Advanced knowledge of Windows NT/2000.2003 Server, OS Performance Monitoring
? Experience with large server migration/consolidation efforts within multiple datacenter environments
? Understanding of network security, as well as infrastructure security concepts
? Debugging tool experience is preferred
? Experience with HP server hardware is preferred
? Experience with . Net Framework, IIS, and/or SQL server preferred
? Red Hat Linux experience is preferred
? Must work well with other system engineers on the team as well as application support personnel
? You must be able to personally resolve simple to complex server hardware and OS related issues
? Strong experience with High Availability architected solution is preferred including clustering between EXS Server Virtual Machines
? Ability to develop strategic technical documentation and written communications relative to field of expertise (white paper, standards documents, procedural Self-Solutions focused with Enterprise perspective documents)
? Understanding of SAN technologies and storage
