Responsibilities: As Video Software Engineer, you will work on video software and driver development & debugging (mainly Windows and PC platform). Your focus will include video compression, decompression, and processing such as advanced de-interlacing, scaling, filtering, etc.. Familiarity with DXVA, MS Media Center, Windows device driver and kernel-mode system programming, is a must. You will also help with developing tools to help insure a greater quality and stability of the video drivers. Join the Video Team in our quest for taking the PC platform to a new level in terms of video quality, functionality and features! Minimum Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Digital Signal Processing or related discipline 2+ years of relevant industry experience. Relevant industries include PC or consumer video hardware or software development, digital video, image processing, or video hardware or software codec development. Familiar with a wide range of current video and image processing techniques and digital video compression standards such as MPEG-2, H.264, and Windows Media Video. DirectX, DirectShow, MCE, HDTV, ATSC, DVB, DVD. XP kernel mode driver and/or Vista kernel mode driverEOE
