Vignette Portal Developer

Job Description:
Vignette Application Portal Developer Kforce is looking to hire a senior level Vignette Application Portal Developer in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities of the Portal developer include:
Development of portal solution utlizing VAP 4.5 or higher
Analysis of existing portal structures and designs
Design and development of new Portal application
Development of workflow definitions
Analysis and design of portal architecture
Development of migration processes and scripts
Participate in the content migration process
Design and implement integration of content management system with the portal application
Development of reports and utilities to enhance content management functionality

Skills required for content management developer include:
Experience using Vignette VAP 4.5 or higher
Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Servlets, HTML, SQL, XML
Experience with portal products/portal development - preferably Vignette (VAP 4.5.1)
Experience with WebLogic Server 8.1
