WIN and LINUX Administrator

Our client's Network Administrator will meet these responsibilities: Evaluate and deploy system security patches. Investigate and provide remedies for reported security incidents. Monitor security log files. Perform internal network security audits and arrange third-party network security audits. Prepare and test disaster recovery procedures. Support the Client Internet Domain Name Server, e-mail gateway and servers including virus and spam controls. Support adware, spyware, and malware controls. Maintain system for timely and accurate downloads of anti-virus definitions. Configure and maintain remote access to the Client's network, with a focus on security, using VPN tunnels, dial-up networking or wireless methods as appropriate, from travelers’ notebooks, employees’ home PCs, and other office networks. Investigate and resolve known network problems. Support system backups for production servers and desktop PCs. Set up new production servers. Support servers on the Client's test network. Support user accounts and passwords. Manage disk space use on the Client's production and test networks. Perform other tasks as directed by the Systems and Networking Manager.
