WLAN Software Engineer The mobility group has the following position available: Sr. Software Engineer for WLAN/Mesh product development.

The mobility group in the Converged Data Networking division designs and develops several key Wireless LAN and mesh Solutions. These products are key to the Converged Data Networking strategy and execution plans. As a senior software engineer in the wireless mesh group you will be responsible for design and development of next generation wireless mesh products. Help maintain the current solution which is essential in maintaining a positive relationship with primer mesh customers.

Job Requirements:
●?Successful track record of developing high quality, complex embedded software features, against aggressive schedules
●?Ability to lead/guide a team of engineers in product design and implementation
●?Experience in 802.11 based WLAN/Mesh products
●?Implementation knowledge of 802.11i based authentication system
●?VxWorks/Linux programming for complex multitasking embedded environment a must
●?Strong debugging abilities and the skill sets to troubleshoot complex software systems
●?Familiarity with ClearCase development environment
●?Strong fundamentals is software engineering principles and practices; knowledge of system integration/testing methodologies
●?Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly document functional and design specifications
●?Successful candidate will be a self-starter and fast learner. At least 5+ years of experience in software design and implementation
●?MSCS/EE or equivalent
