Web Application Developer

Llesiant is currently focused on the legal market including top tier law firms, in house corporate counsels and other legal professionals.

 

Llesiant is looking for a web application developer with strong knowledge and experience using a variety of technologies. Strong capabilities with web design technologies, XML and XSLT are essential. In addition, candidates must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Knowledge of the XML enhancements added to SQL Server 2005 is a plus.

 

Job Description:

? Design, implement and test applications for new and existing projects.

? Collaborate with other developers to continuously improve code.

? Perform software maintenance and fix bugs on existing projects.

? Document work as required for ease of maintenance.

 

Experience and skills:

The candidate will need to have 3 or more years of production experience, strong analysis and design skills, including experience developing enterprise applications with a large number of users, strong relational database design/development skills, full life cycle development experience and good communication skills.

 

BS in Computer Science or other tech discipline (Engineering, Math, or Physics) is required combined with relevant work experience in architecting/deploying solutions.

 

At least 3 years of software development/database engineering including:

1.  Web design technologies: HTML, CSS, Java Script, ASP and ASP.NET and IIS

2.  SQL Server 2000 and 2005

3.  XML and XSLT

4.  Knowledge and experience with SharePoint Portal Server is a plus

5.  Visual Basic and C# experience is a plus

 

One or more of the following certifications are key differentiators for competitive candidates: MCSD, MCAD, MCSE
