As a Web Developer for StarMine, your PHP and MySQL software development expertise will be frequently tested as you work on our site's front-end development. In this challenging but highly visible web development role, your work will be viewed thousands of times a day and you will be routinely asked to improve different aspects of our web-based mainline products. The successful individual will create dynamic web pages based on reusable classes that will improve our website's general infrastructure and effectiveness for customers.

In this front-end development position you will work primarily in PHP and MySQL as you improve our website's infrastructure. As you work through new features and issues, it will be important that you can demonstrate a strong understanding of page layout, web-based OO programming, SQL skills, and a basic familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies (AJAX). In this important position with StarMine, the successful individual will enjoy solving problems and will recognize the importance of keeping our website well organized.
