Currently have a great opportunity for a Web/ Middleware Architect

Provide technical leadership, leading the design and architecture work for large/complex technical projects focusing on Web Applications and supporting Middleware Architecture.  Identify and define services that enable the strategic intent of the business. Maintain technical knowledge in all areas of web solutions products, industry trends, competitive offerings, and ability to apply it to the business needs of customers.  Support the future direction of web applications and identify areas of functionality that can be delivered to the business.  Help users identify potential reporting and analytic capabilities to manage their businesses.  Identify data sources for the web environment.  Anticipate & resolve data integration issues across applications and analyze data sources to highlight data quality issues. Ability to collaborate in an iterative development process comprised of multiple stakeholders at an enterprise level.

Consult with technical and/or functional team members to ensure projects are in compliance to the company web applications, integration, and security principles and policies. Design and implement high performance, scalable web services in a services oriented architecture. Collaborate and communicate architecture and design decisions with business and technical stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS: 

BA/BS degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Information Systems with 7+ years of Web Applications experience including prior experience in serving as an Applications Architect.

Demonstrated proficiency in implementation of packaged and custom-developed customer-facing web applications.  Experience with B2B preferred.

Hands on expertise in Java, JSP, EJB, JMS, and XML, including services oriented architecture implementation. 

Experience designing middle tier application integration with web services, messaging, and transformation.  Server infrastructure experience a plus.

Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to read analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and instructional manuals.  Ability to write reports and other varied business correspondence and present information effectively both written and oral.

Ability to lead mid to large size development/enhancement project.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology.
