Web Programmer/Analyst

CO-OP Financial Services, a leading provider of EFT and shared branching services for credit unions has an immediate opening for a Web Programmer/Analyst.  This position will work at the Ontario, CA office.  No relocation is available for this position. 

 

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to perform web maintenance programming and analysis in support of the company?s internet, intranet, and extranet applications.  The successful candidate will be required to have 3 years web programming and analysis, and 2 years of SQL programming experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred; may substitute 1 year of experience with an IT related bachelor?s degree.  They must also have the ability to work with individuals of all levels and varying technical skills.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.  Ability to work with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL, ODBC, IIS, HTML, ColdFusion, Javascript, Visual Studio, Visual SourceSafe, Adobe Acrobat, and Crystal Reports.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

Consults with end users, peers, and contractors to analyze requirements, problems, and procedures, evaluate alternatives, and specify preferred solutions.

 

Converts project specifications and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language.

 

Develops page mock ups and application prototypes to be approved by the project sponsor and management.

 

Creates code necessary to maintain and improve the public website and the intranet/extranet site, develops online forms, query databases, and generates ad-hoc reports; troubleshoots application systems problems and maintains site integrity on an ongoing basis.

 

Develops test plans and performs comprehensive unit and system integration testing of developed code in close coordination with the Supervisor, Applications Development.

 

Deploys and implements computer applications of varying complexity.

 

Writes, updates, and revises user and system documentation manuals.

 

Trains users on software and hardware usage on-site or in a formal training environment.
