You will be a part of a small development team that is responsible for creating an interim-solution portal. You will perform Requirements Analysis, Design, Development and Testing, and support Acceptance Testing and incremental enhancement. You will also coordinate the development of online help.

 

Qualifications


Web Application Development

Java (standard JDK; JRE 1.5)

Apache

 Tomcat PKI Layer over SSL

Oracle/SQL (Oracle 10g Exprress Edition)

Java/Oracle connectivity

Requirements Engineering 

Use Cases Object Oriented Analysis and Design

Excellent written communication skills (e.g. Author Online help)

Promotes team spirit and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.

Experience establishing an enterprise framework for all phases of software development: requirements, design, development, testing, and delivery.

Experience gathering software requirements by interviewing users, conducting focus groups, creating requirements documents, and developing prototypes.

Knowledge of software development fundamentals. Full life cycle development.BS or equivalent experience.

This contract covers the software engineering and technical support of various existing and future C4ISR systems and associated interface systems in accordance with industry standards. The successful candidate will perform full life cycle software engineering, requirements engineering/requirements clarification and validation, perform high-level design including system architecture, perform detailed design and perform Unit/Integration testing.
