DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Maintain and improve upon existing web infrastructure to support scalable applications, efficiency, and localization framework. Creates internal/external company web pages including graphics, animation and functionality. Designs web page layout and online content, user interface graphics, icons, color schemes, User Flow, content and infrastructure for new product releases and new web-hosted product offering. Performs development and maintenance programming for web pages and web applications.

Responsibilities include:

? Prepare existing web site directories for localization
? Develop XML /XSL files, merge them, and load in Visual SourceSafe and/or CMS system
? Develop table-less Web pages that are XHTML and W3C compliant using CSS2
? Design mock-ups and graphical elements for the Web.
? Unit test a web site to ensure everything works properly before submitting to QA
? Familiarity with encoding issues for localization
? Create and update web pages following existing design template

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

? 6-8 years HTML
? 4-5 years CSS2, W3C XHTML 1.0-compliant code
? 3-4 years coding in XML/XSL,
? Expert Photoshop skills
? Great communication skills
? Proficiency in development tools such as Dreamweaver, XMLSpy, Visual SourceSafe, ClearQuest
? Portfolio demonstrating the required design skills is a must.
? Candidates with knowledge of CMS (preferably Interwoven TeamSite), GMS (preferably Idiom WorldServer), Section 508 & WCAG guidelines for accessibility preferred.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

? 3-4 years JavaScript
? 1-2 years experience w/ ASP and or .NET
? Experience with GMS system

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

College degree in human-computer interaction, product design, graphic design, MIS, Computer Science or related field.
