mNOW! Solutions Engineer

Job Description

Blue Dot Solutions is looking for an outgoing Developer to evaluate, design and implement solutions for our customers using Blue Dot's mNOW! Mobile Framework.  The mNOW! Mobile Framework is a set of design and programmable run-time components that support mobile data collection and integration.  Actual programming in this framework is done using a Blue Dot Solutions proprietary language.

Qualifications
A qualified candidate must be able to:Communicate with customers sufficiently to gather and compose application requirements and manage processes necessary to complete this project phase.
Program sufficiently in the mNOW! environment to implement requirements.
Be able to successfully manage making a beta release, addressing issues/comments and efficiently moving towards solution acceptance and transition to support.
In all aspects of this position, a qualified candidate must have superior communication skills as well as an outstanding ability to organize their work and progress independently.

Required ExperienceBachelors Degree
5+ years programming experience in Microsoft Visual Studio, C/C++/MFC, .Net and/or VB.Other experience will be considered.
2+ years of experience with Oracle/SQL Server and SQL.  Must understand basics of database design, stored procedures, joins, etc.
Understanding of ODBC.
Willingness to travel a minimum of 20%.

Preferred Skills
Web Services integration.
Familiarity with Pocket PC and/or other handled data collection devices.
