This role is responsible for guiding the future of salesforce.com?s award winning salesforce automation suite. This role has both inbound and outbound responsibilities. Be comfortable and confident leading a world class team of developers to bring your ideas to market. Be fluent in positioning salesforce automation to customers, partners, internal stakeholders and industry analysts.

Responsibilities:
? Participate in release planning process to determine contents of each release
? Work with customers and partners to understand their business & technical requirements
? Lead the design of new features as leader of a cross-functional feature team: write the functional specification, create prototypes for usability testing, and work with the development, technical publications, and quality assurance teams through delivery of the feature
? Work with other internal organizations to build awareness of and demand for your features
? Participate in customer-facing events and user conferences as a product expert

Required Skills/Experience:

? Leadership DNA
? At least 4 years industry experience
? At least 2 years experience as a product manager
? Experience writing concise and complete functional specifications
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Keynote level presentation skills
? Comfort working with executives at F500 organizations
? Strong strategic analysis skills and business acumen
? Bachelors' degree, technical disciplines preferred
