Qualified candidates must have experience in
I/O Firmware Development
Basic skills: C/C++ programming, working knowledge of assember programming
(PowerPC and S/390), device driver development experience, good debug
skills, good written and verbal communication skills, leadership skills
Specific technical skills: All candidates must have good working knowledge of Fibre Channel architecture (FC-2, SB2, and FCP), deep knowledge of S/390 I/O architecture,
working knowledge of SCSI architecture, system design experience
(processors/caches/IO busses), experience with virtualization techniques and
implementations, understanding of RAS characteristics and how to design for
high RAS, I/O configuration mechanisms and tools, problem determination
techniques, designing for performance, z-Series service processor knowledge.
