Account Sales Manager - Baltimore

We are seeking a high energy and highly motivated Industrial and Government Account Sales Manager to cover the BALTIMORE, MD area.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Hilti Account Managers are the cornerstone of Hilti and what makes the organization so unique. We take our commitment to customers very seriously with direct contact to more than 500,000 end user customers worldwide on a daily basis. Selling, servicing, and application consulting to construction and manufacturing project sites on a daily basis, the AM is responsible for achieving profitable sales. Each AM is assigned a geographical territory and is responsible for managing the MCS (Manager of Customer Service) function within that territory.

 

MINIMUM ATTRIBUTES:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Master?s degree preferred. 

**Relocation within 12 months required for career advancement**

- Minimum 2-5 years of proven successful outside industrial sales experience required.
- Candidate needs to be familiar with commissioned sales.
- Previous experience with construction, OEM manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong computer (Microsoft Office, Internet) and great planning skills required.
- Strong desire to succeed and work in a team environment required.
- Strong presentation skills required.
- Strong desire to succeed and ability to work in an unsupervised environment.
- Strong desire to find and develop new business required.
- No restrictions on driving privileges.
- No more than 2 jobs (with different companies) in 5 years.
- Fluency in English required. Second language(s) a plus.
