Architectural Coordination Proj Mgr

Job Description: Coordinates the timely, effective and economical preparation of plans and specifications within approved Company physical facility criteria
and standards. The Project Manager will also work with consultant architects to develop exterior building designs that maintain prototype brand as well as accomodate municipality requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides supervision to assigned associates and/or consultants for preparation of required drawings, sketches and related materials
relative to assigned projects and coordinates all planning disciplines.
2. Manages the review and checking of plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness, and provides guidance for coordination
and construction.
3. Assists in the initiation and preparation of plans and specifications, which ensure that the design of facilities is in accordance with
Company standards.
4. Analyzes and checks data related to site characteristics, including soil tests, surveys, engineering requirements, utilities, access,
existing conditions and building regulations as related to initial construction document preparation.
5. Manages and assists outside consulting architectural teams.
6. Assists in implementing physical facility standards and in communicating the need for revised standards and basic criteria.
7. Participates in joint design/construction meetings as a representative of the Company and coordinates activities with other parties in
the shopping center construction management, as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture, architectural engineering, interior design and/or project management.
Experience: Five (5) years experience in production and interpretation of building and/or engineering design, preferably retail stores, including
experience in the design and planning of retail stores.
Must have general knowledge of building codes, materials and costs, and contract administration.
Must be proficient with Autocad and Microsoft Office programs.
