AREA SAFETY DIRECTOR - Dallas

 

CEI Roofing, located in greater Dallas, TX  a subsidiary of Tecta America Corp., the largest commercial roofing company in the United States headquartered in Skokie, Illinois, with annual revenues in excess of $380 Million Corporation, 23 operating companies and 50 locations throughout the United States, is seeking a Area Safety Director for its commercial roofing division.  This position will handle the south central region of Tecta America and cover offices located in Houston, Amarillo, Atlanta, Birmingham, Lafayette, and Lubbock.  Candidates must be legally capable of working in the United States.

 

This position will report to local Operating Unit President and the Tecta Safety Director.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

Implement the corporate safety and health program.  Perform pre-job safety reviews, develop training programs, perform safety observations, attend jobsite meeting as requested.

 

Requirements:  

 

Applicants must have 3-5 years experience in construction safety.  Computer literacy required with proficiency in Microsoft office and excel. Must be bi-lingual English/Spanish with strong inter-personal skills.  Jobsite inspections are a mandatory part of this position so candidate must have a valid driver?s license, be able to climb ladders on a repetitive basis and have the ability to bend and carry up to 40lbs on a repetitive basis. 

 

Preference will be given

 

To persons who are intelligent, enthusiastic, detail oriented, degreed, bi-lingual with three to five years of experience.  This position offers a perfect blend of outdoor and office work.
