Associate Construction Project Mgr

Job Description: RESPONSIBILITES: - Plan, coordinate and execute jobs up to $2M with minimal supervision
- Direct the preparation of documents necessary for the design and construction of jobs
- Responsible for the preparation for accurate job cost reports and forecasts
- Maintain all job files
- Coordinate all project activities with affected parties - Provide timely communication
- Prepare project plans
- Prepare project budgets and schedules
- Coordinate the activities of a small project team

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION

- Works independently on own projects
- Budgets, contracts and purchases must be approved by project manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Four years of applicable experience or Bachelor's degree and two years of applicable experience
- Working knowledge of project management process
- Demonstrated understanding of project cost accounting/reporting
- Demonstrated understanding of CPM scheduling
- Demonstrated understanding of construction estimating process
- Computer proficiency within a Windows environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of construction contracting process and documents
- Team Player - strong relationship skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or Finance
- SAP experience
