Auto CAD Operator

Good Homes and Comunity a Nashville area residential builder currently seeking an Auto CAD Operator for corporate office.

 

Primary responsibilities will be:

 

To efficiently produce house-specific site plans for each house sold

 

Making changes to plans, option features, etc.

 

Work with electrical plans, floor plans, elevation plans, site plans, etc.

Responsible for checking plans for accuracy and completeness.

 

Also responsible for the creation of new home estimates and updating estimating database as needed.

 

The ideal candidate will: 

 

Have a proven track record of being detail-oriented, organized, creative, and a team player.

 

Be extremely motivated to contribute to and share in the success of a growing company.

 

Have formal training and 2-3 years work experience in the use of Auto CAD LT 2002.

 

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

 

Possess proven people and communication skills.

 

Experience in estimating and design a plus.

 

Knowledge of Builder MT a plus but not required.

 

Have demonstrated fluency in general office equipment, networking concepts, and Windows Operating Systems

 

Have knowledge of building codes.

 

Have experience in and/or knowledge of residential construction.
