Ryland Homes, a fortune 500 Company and leader in the industry has an opportunity in the Houston Division.

 

The Houston Division currently has over 30 open communities.  Due to expanded growth, the Division is hiring for homebuilders throughout the city and surrounding areas.

 

Reporting to a Homebuilding Manager, builders will be responsible for managing all aspects of the homebuilding process according to Ryland Homes? quality standards.  Various homebuilding responsibilities are included but not limited to: managing materials & coordinating the scheduling of trades, enforcing all jobsite rules, monitoring the cleanliness & appearance of the community, and controlling & reducing costs. 

 

In addition, builders are expected to insure all site personnel comply with safety standards as well as with OSHA guidelines. Ryland builders are also expected to conduct homeowner meetings and appropriately set expectations. 

 

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor?s degree along with 2-3 years of new home construction experience working as a builder for a production homebuilding company.  Canidates must have effective communication skills and problem solving ability.
