CADD/Assistant Designer

  Dresden Framing Systems now owned by Allied Tube & Conduit a Tyco International Company and leading manufacturer of electrical conduit, fittings, and mechanical tube, is looking for a CADD/Assistant Designer for our Rancho Cucamonga, CA location.  If you want to be part of an organization where growth of people is integral to the growth of the business, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

 

- Transforming engineering plans into shop drawings and associated Bill of Materials and cut lists,

- Review drawings for adherence to established specifications and standards, and

- Assist designers in creating details and plans.

 

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma, College a plus. Must have 2-3 years experience with verifiable experience using AutoCAD2004 or newer at a minimum proficiency level of 1.  We are seeking an individual with working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in steel construction.  Must be able to read standard construction blueprints; you must have working knowledge of personal computers and commonly used business software (i.e. Word, Excel, and E-mail).
