CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT / FIELD MANAGER

Cooley Construction is a General Contractor with projects nationwide.  We currently have openings for Superintendents/Field Managers for projects in various locations across the United States.

 

Primary Responsibilities:Supervision of all field operationsSchedule manpower and subcontractorsEnsure that all trades maintain project schedule and safety proceduresIdentify critical path items and ensure on-time deliveriesMaintain daily logs, timesheets and other field reportsDevelop rapport and maintain communication with project owner and all subcontractorsMaintain daily communication with Project Management teamConduct weekly jobsite safety meetingsMonitor and track expenses

 

Requirements:Minimum of 10 years experience in Commercial or Federal ConstructionProven track record of successful projectsDemonstrated leadership abilityGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong Mechanical/Electrical background preferredComplete understanding of design specifications, drawings and documentationAbove average planning and organizational skillsUnderstanding of OSHA, Safety and First Aid proceduresMust be capable of self-performing some workComputer literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferredSuccessful candidate must pass Department of Homeland Security background check and drug testTravel is required
