Position Description

Customer Service Technician

Position Summary:  Responsible for completing projects as directed by Customer Service Manager in all aspects for the remainder of the buyer/seller relationship as needed.

Essential Duties:  Timely completion of work orders while maintaining high quality standards.Proper documentation of work as it is completed.Maintenance of company tools and shop areas.Adherence to safety rules.Special projects.Walk through and pickups.Clean and neat appearance.Adequately perform On-Call duty as assigned by the Customer Service Manager.Ensure all work is completed as efficiently, promptly, neatly, and as cost-efficiently as possible.  First concern at all times is the reasonable satisfaction of McMillin Home homeowners.Performs other tasks as assigned by Customer Service Manager as necessary.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

This position typically requires at least 1 year of customer service experience, construction background preferred.

 

Skills & Abilities Must have personal construction tools in good condition. Prefer candidate have utility vehicle - preferably a pickup truck or van, and valid driver's license.  Possess a current working knowledge of quality, (California), residential construction and ability to work with components involved, including but not limited to basic framing, finish carpentry, plumbing, drywall and paint. Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.  Highly adaptive, flexible and empathetic but responsive with a need for closure.  Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments to meet deadlines.
