Commercial Roofing Superintendent-Atlanta Area

 

Construction Services, Inc, located in the greater Atlanta area, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tecta America Corp., the largest commercial roofing company in the United States with 23 operating companies and 50 locations throughout the United States, is seeking a Superintendent/Production Manager for its commercial roofing division.

 

This position will report to the Operations Manager

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Coordinating & scheduling crews on a daily basis. Check jobs in progress for quality, safety, cleanliness, schedule, proper details and problem areas. Facilitate in the planning process of each project and coordinate our work with general contractors, consultants and owners. The hiring of field personal and their safety training.

 

Requirements:  At least 12 years of hands on roofing experience with a valid driver?s license.  Applicant will be required to regularly visit jobsites and access roofs.  Must be capable of repetitive bending, repetitive lifting up to 30lbs and be able to set up and climb ladders.  Needs to have basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft office products (word and excel). Individual must be able to foster a positive and harmonious work environment, showing professionalism in actions, speech and dress. 

 

Preference will be given to individual that is familiar with multiple roofing systems and has hands on experience with each.  Prior experience as a foreman or superintendent at one point in your career is a precedence. Preference to bilingual candidates, Spanish would be an advantage.
