Construction Claims Analyst

Claim Prevention - Periodic monitoring of, and feedback on, the management of projects and the administration of construction contracts.

Claim Preparation -Review of the project documents and records along with other pertinent information to support the Districts position.
Establish entitlement
Develop impacted schedule analysis
Evaluate damage

Claim Analysis

Delay impact analysis
Standard care evaluations
Productivity analysis
Merit analysis
Contract/entitlement analysis
Cause/effect analysis
Schedule analysis
Assessment of damages
Report preparation

Claim Resolution
Negotiation and mediation support
Arbitration and litigation support


Requirements:

5 or more years experience analyzing constructions claims on large public projects or programs
General working knowledge of California Contract Code
Estimating experience.
Proficient in P3.
Prefer BS or BA in architecture, engineering, urban planning, construction management or closely related field
.
